Tennesseans: Save the Date to Help 4-Year-OldsJoin Stand for Children on February 16 at a Pre-K Day on the Hill to support Tennessee’s pre-k program. Pre-k has had incredible support from Governor Bredesen and the state legislature. But key factors will shift in 2010. We’ll elect a new governor next year, and we face an ever-tightening state budget. Preserving the state’s 934 pre-K classrooms serving 18,000 4-year-olds is up to us.
